Day #120 of 365 Project

At 3:30 most weekdays this is a wonderful sight for me to see because another workday is over and it's time to go home & relax! I do love my job, but after 7.5 hours I am ready to be done for the day!

Day #119 of 365 Project

I posted picture of this same tree several months ago when it was just bare branches and I have been watching it and waiting for it to put on it's beautiful springtime show. Well I think it's finall happened! I thought it was one of my project posts, but now I can't seem to find it in my "365" files, so I will have to journey back through my blog and see where it is......could have sworn I posted it......

Okay, I found it and it's not a "365" photo, it was posted on January 5 and is titled "On my way home"

Day #118 of 365 Project

And another from the Sunday drive. The door on a Timber Jack Feller Buncher. The donkey sign caught my eye and then the green...my favorite color! :)

Day #117 of 365 Project

A couple more from the Sunday drive, rocks in the creek. Not real impressive, but I thought it made a somewhat interesting image anyway. :)

Day #116 of 365 Project

This is another shot from our drive on Sunday. It's a bald eagle in her nest. It isn't a great shot, in fact it's not even a good shot but I was thrilled to get it anyway. I was amazed at how huge the nest and the bird are. This tree is right in the middle of a golf course and the closest I could get was by the highway which was probably about 400 feet from the tree.

Day #115 of 365 Project

My husband & I and a friend went for a drive in the woods south of Bend today. We went on some really interesting back roads that brought back memories of my days as a Jeep 4x4 aholic. He even let me drive the whole day so he could sight see. It was mostly dirt & trees but we did see some things that captured my photo interests. Those things will all be shared as "Days" of this week. So to start, this excavator was the most colorful thing I saw, the other shots are really going to need some photoshop magic!

Day #114 of 365 Project

This weird thing somehow attatches parts of my husbands truck & trailer together, he told me what it does, but unfortunately, that's all I can remember! :)

Day #113 of 365 Project

The necklace. Worn by one of my coworkers. It was much more stunning in real life, but I still think it made an interesting enough subject.

Day #112 of 365 Project

The shop doors. This is always a good sign, the shop doors closed & locked, especially when I come home from work! If the doors are open it usually means that some kind of work is going on and there is a good chance my work day is not over yet!

There's one in every crowd :) The Women's Tennis Team Photo

I took the CCHS women's tennis team pictures last week and I thought eveything went by pretty easy & uneventful. I WAS WRONG!! hahaha The first shot I was aware that something was not right(but quite funny), but until I got home, imported the images and started working on them, I didn't realize that someone had a good time being funny for the team pictures. See if you can spot the "One in every crowd" in these picrures. If not, scroll down and you'll see what I saw when I tried to choose which image to use as the final picture to print for everyone.

The first one was obvious! The guys helped make this one a winner! :)

AND then we have lovely Braiden(hope I spelled it right), making memories for me in these! hahaha! I could not believe I never noticed her doing this while I was taking the shots! But I'll sure be watching her next time she's in a team picture! hahaha

Luckily I did get one shot before she thought to adorn me with these faces and that one went to print. AND she knows I am sharing these other three shots with the world! She did make me laugh!

This last shot is Braiden & Catie, their "buddy shot" I thought it also was quite unique!

THANKS GIRLS! (AND BOYS)!

Sarah's Family

I took some family photos for Sarah about a week ago. She brought along her parents, children & granddaughter. We were really lucky to have decent weather and we got lots of great pictures.

Day #111 of 365 Project

The wind chimes at a time during the day when they were still! That's not happening much lately!

Day #110 of 365 Project

These pretty little grape flowers are all over my lawn and I just hate to mow them down. They started out in the flower beds but over the years they have multiplied and now they seem to be everywhere in the yard.

Day #109 of 365 Project

Rusty chain, another decoration that can be found in our shop yard. The colors of the rust were not quite so amazing before a little Photoshop magic! :)

Day #108 of 365 Project

Funny how things you see every day don't really catch your eye until you're looking for something interesting to take a photo of. This is the doorknob of the door on my husbands shop. We built the shop ourselves quite a few years ago and used many 2nd hand parts that had some special meaning to us. We used this old door, complete with doorknob, it was given to use by my sister & her husband. The door was the door to an old house on their property that has long been torn down, but was last occupied by my niece who passed away in an automobile accident in 1990. So every time I see this knob, it makes me think of her.

Day #107 of 365 Project

It's almost time for the old fire trailer to head for the woods, seems like only yesterday we were bringing it home for the winter. No flat tires, hopefully no leaks!

Day #106 of 365 Project

Pretty pink blossoms, not sure what kind of tree, but I think it's a crab apple.

Day #105 of 365 Project

Oregon grapes. Taken with my P&S Fuji pocket camera.

Day #104 of 365 Project

The blooms are happening!!! Yippee!!! I see a lot of these pretty trees starting to show their blossoms now, but few seem to be located where I can get a decent picture of them. I spotted this one on my lunch break and liked the tree & the building behind it.

Day #103 of 365 Project

I set this shot up and tried it several different directions. It's definately one that looked much better in real life than it does in the photo, but oh well, I tried :)

Day #102 of 365 Project

These wonderful pine logs sure kept us warm and the electric bill down all winter, but I am hoping soon we can put an end to the cutting, chopping, hauling & stacking for a few months! I'm ready for warm weather!
