Processing Actions

I had a little time to play around with some CS3 actions and here are a few of them. Haley got to be the subject since hers were the last pictures I worked on and they came open when I started the program(not to mention that she is such a great subject).

In each set of pictures, the top one is the original and the 2nd has the action applied to it. While some are pretty heavy and may not appeal to everyone, I just wanted to share some exapmles of what "can be" done if requested.

Day #154 of 365 Project

Another bee on a flower. I don't really have a good close up lens so I have to shoot & hope then crop for shots like this. Maybe someday I will get a nice close up lens and open up a whole new area of photography for myself.

Good thing this little guy doesn't have allergies, he is covered in pollen! He was very involved in his eating/working and didn't mind a bit if I took his picture!

I am loving these cloudy skys! Every day lately has been a different show of them. This place was on the route I had to take to come home from a friends and I loved the scene!

Peter & his KTM

This is Peter, he and a bunch of his friends were up at Mill Creek riding their dirt bikes and when my photo shoot with Bleu's family was over and we were packing up to leave, Peter still hadn't loaded his KTM yet and we asked if we could take a few pictures of Haley on it. He was kind enough to allow us to sit her on it for a few pictures and they turned out great! Thank You Peter for being a good sport and sharing your "prop" with us!

Haley - Bleu & Susans beautiful daughter

This is Haley, daughter of Blue, a teacher I work with and Susan, his lovely wife. Haley was SUCH A JOY to photograph! Besides the obvious fact that she is a little doll, she is also sweet as can be and has a very fun attitude and bubbly personality. She put up with me taking pictures of her for nearly 2 hours and didn't even get grumpy, tired maybe, but not negative at all.

I have SO MANY pictures of Haley that I LOVE but I had to choose just a few to share here, so here are some of my personal favorites.

This one was all her own idea and I think it turned out SUPER!!!!

So when we were just about ready to leave, a group of bike riders came into camp. Haley thought it would be cool to have her picture on one of the bikes and we all thought so too. So I asked one of the men if we could possible borrow his bike for a prop and he was happy to let us. Thanks Peter!!!

Bleu, Susan & Haley

I took some family photos for Bleu & his family about a week ago, we went to Mill Creek(that is quickly becoming my favorite place) and the weather was wonderful! I work with Bleu in our classroom at CCMS, this is our first year working together and it has been a joy. He is a wonderful teacher and a genuinely nice human being AND he has a beautiful family(happiness to my camera). We took LOTS of pictures and I have narrowed the picks down to these to share on here.
