Cindy & Family

I took family pictures for Cindy & her wonderful family a few weeks ago. Great bunch of people, very easy to photograph & they definately have lots of humor to share! Thanks Cindy for asking me to capture these memories for you!

The look on the dogs face just makes me smile! What a good dog! :)

Debbies grandma's 90th birthday

I took pictures of Debbies grandson Ethan last spring and he was the most wonderful 3 year old to photograph EVER! He poses and smiles and cooperates like the seniors do, I had such a great time with that shoot and I hope to do many pictures of him in the future. Anyway, this group of pictures is from a family birthday party...Debbies Grandma was having her 90th B-Day celebration at the local park and Debbie asked me to come and take family photos. The family is huge (in numbers, not weight :) ), Grandma Craig had 8 children and they all had children and they had children.........LOTS of great people at this celebration! I am just sharing this one group shot of everyone and a few of Debbies immediate family because there are just too many groups and people to post them all. Thanks for letting me be a part of this wonderful celebration, you are all wonderful people!

Kassandra - Senior 2010

This is Kassandra, I took her senior pictures several weeks ago and looking at the weather today it's hard to imagine that it was so hot that day. She said she had never had picytures like this taken before and wasn't really sure what to do or how to pose, as you can see, she figured it out pretty fast! We got lots of great pictures and here are a few of my favorites to share.

Chelsi - senior 2010

Here's Chelsi, another senior for 2010. I took her sister Heather's senior pictures several years ago and at the time Chelsi was not even wanting to be photographed, she finally gave in but would only give us a little smile. This time for her pictures, she had great smiles. She also had a huge dog that didn't really want to look at the camera but when he saw her sitting on the ground he decided to give her some attention and we got this great unposed shot of both of them.

I want to add this sad note in here as it happened to her family and should be passed on to everyone that intends to have pictures taken with their dog. I mentioned we took her sisters pictures several years ago, her sister also brought her dog along for some photos with her and several weeks after the photo shoot Heather lost her dog to the PARVO disease that dogs get. Please remember that the park or any other place that your dog is not familiar with may cause problems. As I understand, PARVO is something that gets in the ground easily from an infected dog and remains there and contagious to other animals for several years. If you want your dog in your pictures, please be sure it has been vaccinated or choose a place you know is safe. Anywhere that is public may be a hazard for your pet.
