Roseanna & Dominic

I took some photos today for Roseanna and her adorable son Dominic. He started out as a little camera ham, but as the session progressed, he grew sick of it pretty quick and wanted to play instead of pose. :-) We did some inside first then went to one of our town's parks in hopes of getting him to pose some more. Well, he still wasn't interested in that, but we did manage to get some really cute shots of him just being a kid. I had a great time, Dominic is such a happy, friendly little boy that he just makes you feel happy!

Phil & Candy

Phil & Candy got married at the new Powell Butte Church on December 13. I met Candy when she worked a year at CCMS, we became good friends and I am so happy she asked me to photograph the happy day for her! Congratulations you two!

Christmas helpers

When it came time to put the Christmas stuff away for the year, I had lots of help! They were in everything, unwrapping everything they could get their paws on, and completely annoyed with me for finally locking them in the garage so I could get the stuff cleaned up! :-)

Christmas 2008

My Christmas this year was pretty much a regular day, we didn't put up a tree or lights, we didn't have any big holiday meal, we just relaxed and saved our pennies. I did however have the joy of visiting my very favorite little girl in the whole world. :-) This was so much fun, I love to watch her joy in all the new things she is learning. The glasses are a toy, she always wants to pull ours off and wear them, so now she has some to play with.

The Gingerbread House

My good friend Jeri Childress, who also happens to be the best wedding cake baker around, made this wonderful Gingerbread House. She gave it to me about a week before Christmas and it has been the centerpiece of the kitchen table ever since. Everyone that has seen it has loved it, I think she may be quite busy next December :-) As you can see here, the cat thought it was quite an amusing thing too!

Dawn & Family

Took some family photos for Dawn and her family. This shoot was a blast! Great people and lots of fun, you can always count on her two sons to get things going! :) It was so darn cold outside, we used the lobby of our local Best Western Hotel as a backdrop.

These two behaved pretty well, even with the coaxing from the kids, they managed to maintain some composure. :)

The kids found the "electric" presents fun, and David couldn't resist the dove ornament.

Cheryl & family

I took some family photos for Cheryl, it was a xmas gift from her father. These darn freezing temperatures are keeping the photo shoots to the indoors. I think these turned out very well. These are a few of my favorites.

The family
Cheryl works in real estate and needed a new image for her business cards, we took several, I liked this one because she looks so friendly(she really is).

And this little doll is the newest addition to her family. She's sooooooo adorable!
