Todays post is of a cute little couple whose wedding I attended today. Stetson & Ciera were married at Eastside church with a reception afterwards at the Country Club. I was not the one in charge of getting the pictures today and just had fun and snapped a few of my own.

Stetson & Ciera got married today. The wedding was at Eastside Church here in Pville. It was a beautiful wedding & I had a great time hanging out with my friend Karen. I was not the hired photographer for this wedding(I no longer do weddings), I was a guest with a camera :) Karen was also a guest with a camera and we had a great time snapping fun shots! Congratulations to the happy couple and thanks for the very enjoyable day!

Thank you to a very great sport and fun person for todays photo. I will never forget the first time she did this.... I was taking girls basketball pictures for CCMS, it was quite a long evening and I was running short on my own smiles..... She was one of the last to get her photo taken and she had her back to me when suddenly she swung her head around and gave me this face!!! I nearly dropped the camera!!! Now she's a senior at CCHS, still playing basketball, and still gracing the camera with her wonderful humor! She definately knows how to make people smile! Thanks Jaci, you are fantastic!!

Today was cat photo shoot day!!! I didn't have much to do and the weather outside was cold & wet, so the cats got to give me a hand at trying out some new inside places I have been wanting to experiment with. I am completely happy with the outcome of the inside shots and the cats got lots of extra attention so they are completely happy too!! :) This first one is Miss Mooie in her new basket. After reading some good news about a friends son, I decided to make this my photo for the day. Tina's son Cody, who is a senior this year, and also part of Crook County Cowboys wrestling team was suffering from an injury that put him out of wrestling.....well he had surgery today and it went well so now he will be back to wrestling in a few short weeks!! In 2010 I participated in a project/challenge called Project 365, rules were to post a photo for every day of the year. I did it, I posted 365 different random pictures and I must admit at times I really didn't enjoy it at all because taking a picture every day, processing it then getting it posted became a huge inconvienence at times! This year I am participating in a similar, but not quite so difficult project.... A Photo A Day 2012. This project just requires a photo posted every day, no matter when it was taken, so I can use photos I already have finished if I get behind on new ones :) Only stipulation is the image must show some Photoshop "magic". Easy enough!? So I will give this a go and see how it all turns out :) For day #1 I have a picture of the scene I saw driving home from Bend on the day my grand son was born.... a very wonderful day!! There is a rainbow, it's just hard to see! :)

So here they are!!! No retouching or fancy stuff, just natural pictures :) Baby boy Grayson was born on Dec. 28. Mama and baby are doing great, mama is a pro at this childbirth stuff!! I kept Marley with me and we went to visit in the afternoon. Marley got to meet her little brother and she thinks he's wonderful. Also present were my mom( Marley & Grayson's great grandma), and of course daddy(my son). Grayson is a beautiful baby boy and we are all so happy he has arrived! I took some senior & family pictures for LaDia a couple weekends ago. I had a great time at this shoot.... very VERY memorable! :) Besides enjoying ourselves taking pictures, talking & having a great time, we also managed to get ran out the park by a homeless guy!!!! We interrupted him while he was trying to do his laundry in the creek and he told us basically to get lost as we were annoying him!!! I didn't know the city park was there exclusively for him, but I guess I learned something!! :) :) So we just moved on to a different part of the park and finished our session. I took some family pictures for this wonderful family a few weeks ago at Mill Creek Barn. We did some last year and they had hoped for snow and wanted to use this barn area, but when we got to the road up to the barn it was closed for the season! So we went farther up Mill Creek Road and found another spot to take the pictures and when we all got out and got started we got SNOW, as in raging blizzard snow!!! WOW...What a week! Last Sunday my computer decided to really give me a hard time and wouldn't cooperate with anything I wanted it to do! After spending many hours battling with it, I finally decided if I wanted to get any progress I just needed to break down and replace it. So I went & got a new computer. The new one is MUCH faster and doesn't hesitate at anything I ask of it, so now my processing will be much speedier!!! Even though I have been saving for a new computer for quite some time, it seems something else would always come up and take my $$$$.

My fantastic son, Justin, was my rock.... without his help and knowledge I would be in a big mess! So much was involved in the "switch over" to the new computer and he is a pro at that stuff. He spent several nights and many many hours helping me get set up after he worked all day himself, but now, thanks to him I am ready to start working again.

So bear with me as I get Caught up once again! I am working hard on getting all my wonderful customers images ready!

I took some pictures of Rachel and her darling son, Ayden, a few weeks ago while we still had leaves on the ground that weren't just mush. We went to Ochoco Creek Park for the outdoor pictures one afternoon after I got off work, it was FREEZING!!! So we just did a few leaf shots and a few by the playground and decided we would finish the session another day....inside! So the indoor pics were done at Ayden's grandma's house. Savannah - Senior 2012

Sometimes everything just works out PERFECT and this senior photo shoot was one of those times!! Savannah was such a joy to take pictures of, she is very energetic, very happy and not afraid to get dirt on her! :) We started out with her horse pictures and we were both a little worried about the bright sunshine, but it worked fine! Then we went to Old Howard School and everything worked out amazing! Thank you Savannah for the wonderful day and the wonderful pictures!! Your photo shoot left me with lots of fun memories!

Clay & Casie's family - Fall 2011

I took a few family pictures for Clay & Casie a few weeks ago. Because we all have such busy lives, we decided to try to take some late afternoon pictures before the sun left us, on a day after work. Well darn it, we could not have chosen a more windy day if we tried!! I think we still managed to get some great pictures though! This is one of my favorite families to photograph, they are so much fun! All 4 children just radiate health and happiness, they are soooooo sweet! Trying to get all 4 to cooperate, sit still, smile at the camera....hahaha... not going to happen! They have such fun and smile so much that all I can do is just keep snapping the shutter! Personally I love they way these turned out, they show the "real" personalities..... and that's wonderful!! This year we all got our plans early for these family pictures! I have taken family pictures for these fun people for quite a few years now and I always enjoy it! I took family pictures for Kris & Wendy several weeks ago. We went to the Ochoco mountains by an old mine site to get these images. Kris & Wendy got married 9 years ago at this very location and they wanted some pictures by some of the landmarks from their wedding pictures.
