Day #270 of 365 Project

I love this plant that covers most of the front wall of our courthouse. I believe it's called "Virginia Creeper". I am hoping we get to see a good months worth of color changing from it. Last year it froze too early and most of it withered and died off for winter. It is one of the most beautiful color changers I know of. Expect to see lots more posts of it! :)

Day #269 of 365 Project

The leaves are starting to change for their fall color show and I love it! Seems like the last few years we have had such an early frost that many of the leaves that would have been beautiful just turned black and fell off the trees. I hope this year we have a long colorful fall, I am not ready for any freezing yet!!

Sten, Lisa & Family

I took some family photos for Sten & Lisa a couple weeks ago. We didn't have a lot of luck getting many of the family because one of the little ones was not interested in sitting still for pictures! :) We did get a few nice shots of the family, several really cute ones of their son, and a LOT of darling ones of their little baby girl.

Day #268 of 365 Project

The clock tower on the courthouse always catches my eye.

Day #267 of 365 Project

Very interesting patterns in this birch tree bark. I have walked by it at least 100 times in my life and never paid any attention to the beauty in its bark, but the other day while I was looking for project shots, I noticed!!!!

Day #266 of 365 Project

We're not out of flowers yet! Last week the weather was so awful that I felt the seasons were really going to change in a hurry, but this week we have sunshine again. And with the sunshine we seem to keep the blooms! This one is a Hollyhock, one of my favorites.

Day #265 of 365 Project

This post may be torture for many...... probably everyone except for my daughter Amy & I who just happen to LOVE cats and think that most everything they do is adorable! This is my cat "Tuff" (he has many pet names too , but I will spare you all that). We had spaghetti for dinner, one of Tuffs favorites, and while I was lazy and just left my plate on the TV tray while I was cleaning my camera, he decided to help himself. Yes, I could have just picked one or two shots of this, but since my daughter lives in another state, I just had to post them all so she could also enjoy all his expressions!! Yeah, we're definately goofey when it comes to our cats!! This was the exact sequence, like one shot every second :) He had to do some serious thinking on what the best score stratagy would be to actually get that one tiny crumb before I noticed him and shooed him away from the plate. I didn't bother shooing him, I took his pictures instead! :)

Day #264 of 365 Project

I took some engagement photos for Scotty & Amber last Saturday and they brought their horses and their dog, Pike to be in some of their pictures. Pike was so cute and so friendly and the horses didn't mind a bit that he just cruised around with them, right between their legs even!!!

Day #263 of 365 Project

I drive by this delightful scene several times a week and always think, hummm I should get a picture of that! So finally I did! :)

Jacob, Sheri & Lynzee

Jacob & Sheri brought Jacob's brother & his wife & kids along with them for this photo shoot and we all met at Mill Creek Barn. Sheri has had me take pictures of her family & her darling daughter Lynzee for several years now. We have always been successful and got great pictures much to the fact that Lynzee is such a cutie with a very happy personality. This time however, Lynzee was NOT in the mood for photos! BUT after all the wonderful smiles she has graced my camera with in the past, I can not complain! Smiling or not, she is still adorable and remains to be one of my all time favorite little ones to photograph. So here are some of my favorites.
